Terms of Service

These terms apply when you sign up to a Tradl monthly plan provided by Tradl ("Tradl", "we", "us"). By signing up you ("you", "the client") agree to them. If anything isn't clear, email hello@tradl.co.uk before you sign up.

1. What you get

Your monthly plan includes a custom website for your business, a private job dashboard and diary, an enquiry form, hosting, an SSL certificate, your domain name, local Google setup, and small changes done for you (up to 30 minutes a month). Larger changes, such as new pages or features, will be quoted separately before any work starts.

2. Price and payment

You pay the monthly price agreed when you sign up, in advance, by the payment method we agree. Founding members keep their founding price (£49/month) for as long as their plan continues without a break. Standard plans are £89/month plus a £299 setup fee unless we agree otherwise in writing. We'll give at least 30 days' notice of any price change to a standard plan.

3. No contract, 30 days' notice

There's no minimum term. You can cancel at any time by giving 30 days' notice by email. Your plan, and your website and dashboard, will continue until the end of the notice period. We may end the plan with30 days' notice, or immediately if payments aren't made or these terms are seriously broken.

4. Who owns what

The website and dashboard are Tradl's property. The design, code, dashboard, diary and software remain owned by Tradl and are provided to you as part of your monthly plan. You get the right to use them while your plan is active.
Your content is yours. Your business name, logo, photos and the text you give us stay yours. You give us permission to use them to build and run your website, and confirm you have the right to do so.
When a plan ends, your website and dashboard go offline. We don't transfer the design or software.

5. Your domain name

We register and manage your domain name as part of your plan. If you leave, we'll transfer the domain to you on request for a one-off admin fee of £25, so you can keep using it with another provider.

6. Your data

The enquiries and job details in your dashboard belong to you. You can export your job data at any time, including in the weeks before your plan ends. After your plan ends we'll delete your dashboard data within 90 days, unless the law requires us to keep it.

For your customers' personal information, you are the data controller and we are your data processor. We'll only use it to provide the service, keep it secure, and follow your instructions, as required by UK GDPR.

7. Your responsibilities

Give us accurate information about your business, qualifications and insurance.
Don't use the website or dashboard for anything unlawful, misleading or harmful.
Reply to your own customers. We provide the tools, but your jobs and customer relationships are yours.

8. Google and results

We build every site properly for local search and set up your Google presence, but nobody can guarantee search rankings or a number of enquiries, and we don't.

9. Availability and liability

We work hard to keep your website and dashboard fast and online, but can't promise they'll never be interrupted, for example during maintenance or a supplier outage. Our total liability to you in any 12 months is limited to the amount you paid us in that period. We're not liable for indirect losses such as lost profit or lost jobs. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We'll email you at least 30 days before any change that affects you. If you don't agree, you can cancel before it takes effect.

11. Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.
